Aletheian Labs was founded by Kevin Faulkner and Jessica Smith in 2024 after years of working together on investigations where the facts were difficult to untangle, and the stakes were high. Again and again, they saw that reaching the right conclusion required more than technical expertise. It required persistence, ingenuity, sound judgment, and the ability to connect individual pieces of evidence into a clear story. Starting with the brilliant Shayla Milliner, Kevin and Jess set out to build a close-knit team of exceptional colleagues to fulfill this mission.
Inspired by the Greek word aletheia, meaning truth or disclosure, our name reflects the purpose behind every engagement: helping clients uncover and understand what happened and why it matters. We follow the evidence, challenge assumptions, and take the time to understand the details before reaching conclusions.
